Kayak Excursions
We offer guided hourly, full-day of multi-day paddling trips along the Connecticut River and on lakes throughout Vermont and New Hampshire for individuals and groups up to ten people.
Prior to you trip, please download and complete our release of liability waiver. The completed form may be turned in the day of your trip or it may be mailed to:

Kayak Instruction Rates
- $40/person - two hours of kayak paddling instruction with all equipment
- $35/day kayak rental - includes brief introductory instruction, kayak, paddle, and PDF
- $25/half day kayak rental - includes brief introductory instruction, kayak, paddle, and PDF
Guided Day Trip Rates
- 1 person $125/day, $75 half day
- 2-3 people:
- adult $100/day, $65/half day
- children 12 and under $60/day, $40/half day
- 4 people:
- adult $75/day, $50/ half day
- children 12 and under $50/day, $35/half day
- school or camp group call for an estimate
Guided Overnight Camping Trip Rates (vary by number of participants)
- 2 days: $200-250/person for 2-10 or more people, includes all food and boating gear; camping gear may be available
- 3 days: $250-350/person for 2-10 people

Chieftain Inn Boat Rentals (Hanover, NH)
Contact the front desk to make arrangements. Please sign the waiver when renting. PFDs (life jackets) must be worn: tighten straps till the PDF does not lift up over chin when you pull up at the shoulders.
